Building a Home
During our trip in February to El Salvador we had the tremendous privilege of building a home for a needy, well deserving family. After we came home, our friends at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) met up with this family and they made this video thanking us for what we were able, through God's leading, to do for them. Please watch, you will be blessed and you will see how deeply we are able to touch the lives of these people when we are faithful to God's calling. http://youtu.be/cmS2mKsd0-8
We are happy to have you visit our website and we appreciate everyone who God directs to join with us in our worship of Him. It is our prayer that those who come will feel the presence of the Lord Jesus and the love of His people.

Wednesday Night Teachings
The Youth Ministry meets in Room 201 with Pastor Kurt, but it is on a new night and time. The meeting time is Monday nights at 6:30. Room 201 will serve as home base for all the various activities Pastor Kurt has in store for you. You won't want to miss them.
We look forward to you joining us in our time of studying and discussing the Word of God.
Child care is usually provided with a special teaching for the children and rounded off with activity time in our gym.
Our regular Wednesday meetings start at 7 PM and are usually finished around 8ish. All are welcome to come.
Our fall session is beginning on Wednesday, September 10th. We have two great study courses by two of our favorite teachers, Beth Moore for the ladies, and Craig Groeschel for the men.
The ladies will meet in the chapel and will start a 9 week DVD course from Beth Moore. Its her newest work entitled, "Children of the Day." Beth has a love for the word of God that is contagious. She is a story teller, and we at Calvary know how much our God loves a story. She inserts stories and poems into her teaching that come from the perspective of the biblical characters. She speaks with boundless energy, humor, and warmth. Join her and the ladies and learn to be "Children of the Day."
The men will meet in the prayer room and will start a six week DVD course with Craig Groeschel. It's called , "Weird, Because Normal Isn't Working." We enjoyed a course last year by Craig where he amply demonstrated the anointing God gave him for men's ministry. This course is about how the life Jesus has called us to is not normal, not by worldly standards. As Craig says, "So often the difference between where we are and where God wants us to be is the pain we are unwilling to endure." Come prepared to leave normal behind and do the "weird" things God has called us to. In the end, "weird" wins.
Our church is committed to our missions work in El Salvador, Central America. We have sent mission teams down there for the past several years and have a good working relationship with the local ministries and full time missionaries that God has planted there.
Our main desire is for the Children of El Salvador... First and foremost for their salvation, but also, to help with their physical and emotional needs. We are currently operating 2 homes in El Salvador as transistion homes for 18 year olds that are released from orphanages. We call them House of Hope.
That's why when you click on 'Donations' at the top of this page, you will see a place to give for The House of Hope in El Salvador.
A note for those of you that do Missions work elsewhere and might be considering us for support; El Salvador is where we are called, at this time, to do our spiritual, physical and financial work. We do wish you the Lord's blessings in your endeavors, but, our efforts and funding are to go to where God has called us. Right now, that is El Salvador.
If you would like to donate to any of Calvary's ministries, click on the donation link at the top right of this page.

House of Hope
House of Hope offers help to women and children who face hardship, homelessness and “trafficking” in the nation of El Salvador. Working closely with other Christian organizations, our goal is to restore hope and dignity to those who have been “discarded”.
Our desire is to open as many houses as God will give us, and to abundantly and lovingly meet the needs of those who abide there. I pray you will consider joining Calvary Church in making a difference in these precious lives. Together, we can offer hope to the hopeless. May God bless you for your heart of compassion for these young women, children and families who have no place to call home.
